General description of the collection: The Charles N. Coffin photograph collection includes two boxes which provide a wealth of visual material, all personal snapshots, of an enlisted soldier's career over a span of 27 years, much of his time in the Pacific area. The photos reflect not only the various units' activities with which he served, but also much of the scenery, civil life and natives of the Hawaiian Islands, the Philippines, and South Korea. The photos are very well captioned throughout.
